Biome Description: In the deciduous forest there are four seasons, Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring. The animals in this biome must adapt to the temperature changes by migrating or hibernating. Besides the temperature changes they also must adapt by find a food and water source.

Five (5) Producers with adaptations: American Beech Tree has large leaves which it uses to capture alot of sunlight. The Guelder Rose Has very bright berries that attract bird that spread the plants seeds. The White Birch attracts Moose Which eat off the top of the plant allowing the plant to grow more stems. The Lady Fern is mainly used for medicine and decorations. The White Oak has waxy needles allowing it to live in many different habitats.
Three (3) Herbivores with adaptations: The White Tailed Deer bounce there tail when they run away from danger, when they do that it warns other deer that danger is near. The European Red Squirrel climbs trees to get away from predators. The Australian Musked Owl is nocturnal which allows them to catch their prey.
Three (3) Carnivores with adaptations: The Long-Tailed Tit Flies single filed one bird at a time. The Almur Falcon Migrates in March in groups or with smaller falcons. The Bobcat is active day and night but they peak activity during dusk and dawn which allows them to catch their prey.
Three (3) Omnivores with adaptations: The Beurger Frog camoflauge it's self blending into leaves and they also climb to get away from their predators. The American Black Bear has claws which helps them climb trees to get away from predators and they also use their claws when they swim to catch fish.
